Developed for the annual Formula-e competition at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, Andross is a remote controlled car powered by a 16-foot rubber band. The rubber band is housed within an aluminum drive shaft and wound with a drill to provide the necessary power to complete the individual race events.
Each Formula-e team was comprised of two graduate Industrial Design students from Art Center and one Design student from Pasadena City College.

Filtered water bottles typically require increased suction when drinking in order to pull the water through the drinking straw. Passive filter bottles require several hours to filter the water. Twist uses a plunger filter method to filter an entire bottle of water in seconds. The plunger shaft doubles as the straw and the unique form of the bottle causes the plunger to Twist as it is lowered into the bottle. It also provides a comfortable grip.
